机上工芸舎（船橋市）星野友里さんによる陶器製のPicture Plate 2です。
＊本作品は1点1点の表情がかなり異なるため、1点ずつ販売いたします。
絵画のような、その名もPicture Plate。色の異なるいくつかの土を使って模様を描いています。
成型後、乾燥しないうちに黒や白の土を刷毛やへらで塗り表情を作り、その後素焼きをし、釉薬をかけ分けて仕上げています。

個性的なうつわがあるとテーブルの上に動きが出ます。
他のお手持ちの器とどう合わせるかも面白いところ。取り皿としてはもちろん、焼き菓子などにもぴったりです。贈り物にもオススメの１枚です。
使っているときは見えませんが、裏面が素敵なのも星野さんの作品の特徴です。

*Each piece of this work is quite different in appearance. Therefore, each piece will be sold separately.
This picture plate, like a painting, uses several different colors of clay to create a pattern.
After molding, black or white clay is applied with a brush or spatula before it dries to create the piece's appearance, which is then fired and glazed separately.

The table coordination becomes more enjoyable if you have a unique plate.
It is perfect not only as a serving dish but also for baked sweets.
It is also recommended as a gift.
Although you cannot see it when you are using it, the back side of the plate is also a feature of Hoshino's work.
