潮来で作陶する平松祐子さんによる人気の鎬が施された小さな花器です。
瀬戸の磁器土を使い、ろくろをひいて成型し、手で鎬＊を施しています。
＊素地の表面に、凹みを付けて模様にする技法のことを鎬（しのぎ）といいます。
焼成時に出た淡黄色や白い結晶が印象的です。口径が少し広めなので何本か一緒に生けることができます。窓や棚の上、食卓などにも飾りやすいサイズです。

Shinogide is a traditional technique which makes patterns by scraping the half dry clay.
Modern and simple design and this small size fit in small spaces, such as on the desk, small window, side table, bookshelf, etc.
