益子で作陶されている田代倫章さんによる黒い平鉢です。
中央に向かって窪みがあります。裏側から見ても鉢状に広がっているのがわかります。鉄分が含まれる赤土を生地にし、素焼きせずに生掛けし、還元焼成することで独特の黒光沢を出しています。
黒系のうつわは、あるととても便利です。テーブルの上がきりっと締まる感じがします。

Black flat bowl by Toshifumi Tashiro.
It looks flat, but it has a dimple toward the center.
It is not entirely black but has a dull black luster. The black luster is produced by using red clay, which contains iron, as the base material, and firing it by reduction firing without unglazing.
They add a chic and cool look to your dining table.
Handy size for various foods.
