益子で作陶されている田代倫章さんによる１点ものの中平鉢です。

外側のマットな白と、内側の樫灰による、なんとも言えない緑がかったグレー色と貫入が印象的な器です。

一般的には電動ロクロで仕上げを行う事が多いのに対し、田代さんは手ロクロを使い、ゆっくりまわしながら仕上げています。

大きさと深さがあるので、食卓の主役になるような煮物やサラダを豪快に盛っても。

何を盛るか、想像力をかき立てられるうつわです。

The matte white outer surface and the indescribable greenish-grayish-gray interior with oak ash are impressive.
Manual handling of the potter's wheel for surface finishing is part of the character of Tashiro's works.
Since the bowl is deep, it can be used to boldly serve simmered dishes or salads, which are the mainstay of the dining table.
It is a vessel that stirs your imagination about what to serve with it.
