益子で作陶されている寺村光輔による瑠璃釉隅入り小皿です。
寺村さんの作品は現土に近い、あまり精製されていない土を多く使うことで、鉄点など、本来その材料が持っている風合いを残すよう作られています。吸い込まれそうな美しい青は瑠璃の釉薬を使っています。隅にデザインを施した小皿です。薬味や小さなお菓子を入れるのにぴったり。あるいは小物入れとして使っても良いのでは。

Lapis lazuli glazed small square plate by Kousuke Teramura.
He purposely purified the clay roughly and remained their texture that originally had. So there are sand, pinholing, pitting, crazing or cracking on the surface but it's not defective. It has designed corner and warmth which comes from the clay. It goes well with snacks, cookies or even useful for clutter-catcher. Using gypsum mold but shape the edge by hand.
