益子・田代倫章さんによる、灰釉深鉢（小）です。
内側は光沢のある緑がかった灰釉が施されており、貫入が入っています。
そして外側はマットな白化粧土で、内と外の質感の違いがとても特徴的なうつわです。
一般的には電動ロクロで仕上げを行う事が多いのに対し、田代さんは手ロクロを使い、ゆっくり器をまわしながら仕上げ独特の質感を出しています。華奢なのに硬く、比較的丈夫なのも田代さんのうつわの特徴です。
葉ものを使った和え物など、食材の色が映えると思います。
贈り物にも最適です。

An ash-glazed bowl(S) by Toshifumi Tashiro.
It has a beautiful grayish-green color with ash glaze inside and mat-white soil outside.
Coating the edge with metal glaze enhances its strength.
Manual handling of the potter's wheel for surface finishing is part of the character of his works. Great use for appetizers or Japanese tea.
