益子で作陶されている寺村光輔による長石釉八角皿です。
寺村さんの作品は現土に近い、あまり精製されていない土を多く使うことで、鉄点など、本来その材料が持っている風合いを残すよう作られています。釉薬のかかり具合によって青系の色味が出ているのも特徴です。。
小さな取り皿としても良いですし、焼菓子を入れるのにぴったり。小物入れとして使うのも良いのでは。

Feldspathic glazed small rectangular plate by Kousuke Teramura.
He purposely purified the clay roughly and remained their texture that originally had. So there are sand, pinholing, pitting, crazing or cracking on the surface but it's not defective. It has designed corner and warmth which comes from the clay. It goes well with snacks, cookies or even useful for clutter-catcher. Using gypsum mold but shape the edge by hand.
