益子で作陶されている田代倫章さんによる直径約22.5cmの黒灰プレートです。
約1.5cm幅のリムがあり、ディナー皿より一回り小さいサイズになります（同じ形で粉引もあります）。
平らな形ですが、リムが絶妙な角度で立ち上がっているためソースなども外へ流れにくくなっています。
色も真っ黒ではなく、料理が映える黒です。見る角度によってはグレーがかったり、光沢がかったりして見えます。質感もざらざらとしていて小石がはぜています。
使い勝手が計算された、洋食やスイーツ、和食にも何でも合うオールマイティなお皿です。

It has approx.1.5mm rim and it rising towards the edge.
The color is not "jet-black" but more grayish-black with glaze and small pebbles on the surface. Great for various cooking, not only Western but also Japanese.
