益子で作陶されている田代倫章さんによる黒中鉢です。
深さがあり使い勝手の良い器です。
真っ黒ではなく、鈍い黒光沢が特徴的。鉄分が含まれる赤土を生地にし、素焼きせずに生掛けし、還元焼成することで独特の黒光沢を出しています。

Black Ash Medium Bowl by Toshifumi Tashiro.
It has a deep and easy-to-use design.
It is not entirely black but has a dull black luster. The black luster is produced by using red clay, which contains iron, as the base material, and firing it by reduction firing without unglazing.
Black vessels are handy. They add a chic and cool look to your dining table.
