益子で作陶されている田代倫章さんによる黒いお皿です。約1.5cm幅のリムがあり、全体で直径約22.5cmのプレートになります。以前取り扱いをしていたディナー皿より一回り小さいサイズになります（同じ形で粉引もあります）
平らな形ですが、リムが絶妙な角度で立ち上がっているためソースなども外へ流れにくくなっています。
色も真っ黒ではなく、料理が映える黒です。見る角度によってはグレーがかったり、光沢がかったりして見えます。質感もざらざらとしていて小石がはぜています。
使い勝手が計算された、とても美しいお皿です。洋食やスイーツ、和食にも何でも合うオールマイティなお皿です。

Black rim dinner plate by Toshifumi Tashiro. If you are looking for Japanese pottery dinner plate, it is a just perfect for you!
It has approx.1.5mm rim and it rising towards the edge.
The color is not really "jet-black" more grayish black by glaze and there are small pebbles on the surface. Great for various cooking not only western but also Japanese.
