益子で作陶されている田代倫章さんによる大きめの粉引皿です。約1.8cm幅のリムがあり、全体で直径約27.5cmのプレートになります。陶器のディナー皿を探していた方にも大変おすすめです。（同じ形で黒もあります）
平らな形ですが、リムが絶妙な角度で立ち上がっているためソースなども外へ流れにくくなっています。
粉引のやわらかな白は、どんなお料理にも合います。粉引は釉薬のかかり方や焼成によって自然の柄が出たり、貫入など変化があり、うつわを育てる楽しみもあります。表面は光沢があり、裏面は素焼きのざらざら感があります。使い勝手が計算された、とても美しいお皿です。洋食だけでなく、和食にも。1枚の重量が約570gと重厚感があり、おもてなしにもぴったりです。

It has approx.1.8cm rim and it rising towards the edge.
The color is very soft white and there are sand, pinholing, pitting, crazing or cracking on the surface. It has glossiness on the top and rough texture on the back. Great for various cooking not only western but also Japanese.
*Kohiki:Pottery covered completely with white clay which has a powdered appearance.
