九州・日田市に工房を構える大内工芸の竹箸です。
非常に珍しい虎斑竹（とらふだけ）を使用した、本漆仕上げの高級箸です。
虎斑竹は日本で唯一、高知県須崎市安和の虎竹の里でしか生育しません。
今まで各地方に移植を試みましたが何故か斑が出来ず、どうしてこの地方でしか育たないのも解明されていない不思議な竹で「ミラクルバンブー」とも呼ばれています。

箸先にかけて細くなり、先端は直径約2mm。
竹の節を残したデザインで、お取り箸としてもおすすめです。

※使用後はスポンジで洗い、カビなどを防ぐためにしっかり自然乾燥させてから、直射日光が当たらない場所へおしまいください。
※長時間水に漬けないてください。

Toratake Urushi Chopsticks 24cm by Ouchi Kougei in Hita City.
Hita is known as a place where high-quality bamboo is produced.
Ouchi Kougei has nine skilled bamboo craftsman and they are making many bamboo products mainly chopsticks using 100% domestically-produced.
They shape those small products with their sensitive hands.
This bamboo which grows up only partly of Tokushima prefecture and the reason why these tora (tiger) pattern appear on them and why only grows in this area has not been explained yet.That's why they also called "miracle bamboo".

Very simple design finishing with Japanese lacquer.


Hand wash with soft brush, sponge or dishcloth.
Do not leave to soak, dry properly after wash, avoid direct sunlight, not suitable for dishwashers or microwave.
